Returns Policy

This returns policy applies only to material purchased from Northampton Square Ltd in printed form. It does not apply to material viewed on screen and/or downloaded from the web site.
You can return the printed book, report or pamphlet, or other printed material, to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item, with any seals and shrink-wrap intact and we will issue a full refund of the price you paid for the item.
Our 30-day returns guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and any envelope or wrapping intact) and we will issue a full refund of the price you paid for the item. We can only accept the return of opened items if they are damaged in transit. We will replace the damaged item and pay your postage costs, but we not refund the purchase price.
Please note that we reserve the right to send back items to you that have been returned to us after 30 days unless they are damaged.
We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect.
Returning an item which is damaged
If you take delivery of a package from Northampton Square Ltd and the contents have been damaged in transit, you can return the item(s) to us within 30 days of receipt for exchange. Please send the damaged items, with your name and address to, Northampton Square Ltd, 26 Lewis Street, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis HS1 2JF. We will refund your postage cost. If the item being returned was part of an order, only the appropriate proportion of postage costs will be refunded.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights
By law, customers in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. This applies to all our printed books. However, it does not apply to items you have viewed on screen or have downloaded. We regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contract once items have been viewed on screen or downloaded.
To cancel your purchase within the seven working days cooling-off period, please return to Northampton Square Ltd, 26 Lewis Street, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis HS1 2JF, giving the reason for the return as "I just don't want it anymore". Please package the relevant item securely and send it to us within 30 days following the date that the item was delivered to you.
For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded delivery postal service if the value of the return is more than £25.00.
Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged in transit. No refund will be payable unless the item is returned with your refund request.

Subscriptions
When you pay for a subscription you have the right to download one copy of every document on the site for the period of your subscription. You must not copy or circulate those documents within your firm, to your colleagues, family or friends. (See also our Citation Policy and our Terms and Conditions.)
Before enter into a subscription, at your request, we will give you a demonstration of the site which will give you a fair idea of what the site contains, the scope and quality of our work. We quote for a minimum of one year. You will be entering a rolling subscription. This means that unless you give three months notice of cancellation prior to the anniversary date of you beginning your subscription, we will invoice you for a further year’s subscription one month prior to the new year starting. We expect to be paid within this 30 day period.
Changing your mind. You may change your mind within 14 days of purchase. This period will be extended up to 30 days but only if you do not log onto the site. Once you have logged onto the site and you change your mind, we will refund 50% of your subscription so long as you have downloaded no items.
Purchasing downloads from our store
Our store will always give an overview of what the document will contain. Before downloading the document, please satisfy yourself that the document contains the contents you expect.
